The Crescendo School of Music and Dance — a ministry of The Salvation Army Torrance Corps — is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists. We empower students to shine through the performing arts, cultivating confidence, connection, and joy in every note and every step. Music education provides students with much more than simply music appreciation: it helps their brain and language development, memorization, coordination, imagination, and discipline -- in short it helps them be better students! Many local public schools have cut music programs due to budget pressures, leaving a potential for a significant gap in the education curriculum.

We offer a variety of musical instrument training for charter school students. Every student receives a free trial lesson!
